Brightening the place up!
Ages ago Melanie foolishly let me go to the DIY shop on my own to buy paint. The result was a somewhat brightened up hallway/rumpus room because I chose a colour called Daffodil!

Next victim was the bathroom. We really wanted to pull it all out and start again but finances dictated otherwise, so it was a makeover instead. I wish we'd done this months ago as it looks so much nicer!
Before - lovely pink and blue with granny bars and rusty rail.
After - All nicely white. Makes the blue sink and bath bearable.

LOL What is it with British people and painting everything bright yellow - no matter where in the world they are?!?!
There's nothing wrong with the blue....
A few bright colours are much nicer than a house full of beige walls, beige carpet etc...
What's wrong with yellow? :)
