Wood Burner is in!

Okay first things first - we meant to start on this months ago but, well, couldn't be bothered.

Back to other stuff...

The wood burner is in, certified and going well. It gets the house much warmer than the gas fire did. We bought a truck full of wood, half dry pine and half "fairly wet" macrocarpa.

Well the so-called dry pine is wet in the middle and doesn't like to burn and the macrocarpa is drying out really quickly so that's about all we're burning.

We've also installed a heat transfer system to pump the heat into the bedrooms. It's almost like central heating!



The cats helped with the installation of course!
